Care for it.
A removable cover and accessible components are being developed to make cleaning and everyday care easier.
SLEEPING PLATFORM · IN DEVELOPMENT
Body-responsive comfort. Thoughtful pressure relief. A fresh, breathable feel.
Varde Sleep is developing a sleeping platform that brings premium comfort and circular product design together.

01 / DESIGNED AROUND YOU
Comfort at heart. Innovation with purpose.Your shoulders, hips and back need different things from a sleeping surface. Our ambition is to bring gentle pressure relief and stable support into balance, with a response that follows your body.
These four priorities guide our development. Comfort, pressure response, support and ventilation will be assessed through prototype testing.
Four priorities. One considered sleeping platform.

A welcoming surface with a response that follows your body. We are developing a sleeping platform that feels comfortable as you settle in and move through the night.
02 / INNOVATION WITH PURPOSE
Comfort, care and the next life of materials belong in the same design.
We are rethinking the sleeping platform as a whole: how it feels, how its components work together, how it can be maintained and how its materials can be recovered.
Removable parts and easier separation are central to this approach. The ambition is premium comfort with practical care—and a considered route beyond the first period of use.
03 / MORE THOUGHT. LESS WASTE.
We want valuable materials to remain useful. That means thinking about maintenance, separation and recovery from the beginning.
Our circular design approach follows a clear order: care for the product, assess components for reuse, then recover materials when further reuse is no longer suitable.
A removable cover and accessible components are being developed to make cleaning and everyday care easier.
Separate components are central to the design, so materials can be accessed, inspected and sorted more easily.
We are exploring further use of suitable components after cleaning, inspection and quality checks.
When reuse is no longer suitable, our aim is to recover separated materials for new components or other products.
04 / A PRIORITY FROM THE START
Ecodesign for Sustainable
Products Regulation
The EU’s ESPR provides a framework for more sustainable products. Its objectives are an important guide for how we develop the Varde sleeping platform—from durability and easier disassembly to reuse and recycling.
For us, comfort and what happens after use belong in the same design. That is why these priorities are part of our thinking from the start.
In development. Product performance, material recovery and compliance will need to be demonstrated as development progresses.

Varde Sleep is shaped by hands-on experience in mattress manufacturing, industrial leadership and mattress recycling.
That experience brings a practical perspective to our ambition: a sleeping platform that feels exceptional, is easier to care for and is designed with its materials’ next use in mind.
06 / A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Varde Sleep is developing a sleeping platform that brings premium comfort and circular product design together. Its comfort priorities are body-responsive comfort, pressure relief at shoulders and hips, balanced support and breathability. Product performance will be assessed through prototype testing.
The EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) provides a framework for more sustainable products. Its objectives inform Varde Sleep’s work on durability, easier disassembly, reuse and recycling. The product is in development; compliance has not yet been demonstrated.
Varde Sleep is designing for easier separation of components and materials. The ambition is to assess suitable components for reuse after cleaning and quality checks, then recover materials when further reuse is no longer suitable. Recovery processes and outcomes still need to be validated.
Not yet. Varde Sleep is in the design and development stage, with prototypes and testing as the next steps. Products are not yet available for purchase. For enquiries, contact info@vardesleep.com.

CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT
We are in the design and development stage. The next steps are prototypes and testing to assess comfort, support, ventilation, cleaning, durability and material recovery.
Our ambition is clear. Testing will show how the sleeping platform performs and help refine the final product.
